A delicate Rose made by using the Saignee technique with Pinot Noir. This involves “bleeding off” (saignee) a small portion of Pinot Noir juice from the main fermentation tank after only one day. Because red wines undergo fermentation in contact with the grape skin which gives the red colour, this separated juice retains just a very light pale red colour hence, Rosé.
